To all Parents/ grandparents or to any sucker that has the next two weeks of entertaining children over these October school holidays
I’ve already pre-planned a full day at the bay and I thought to share it with you.
10am – I’ve signed Master 7 and Ms 9 to the cooking class at The Moseley. Where $20 will get them their class and lunch. Over the 1 and half hours they are cooking, I will find myself having a little mum time and ducking down to Swedish Tarts, where I can sip on my almond latte and to enjoy my GF banana bread (toasted of course) in peace.
Making my way slowly back to collect the kids I’ll poke my nose into a few of my fav stores. A Personal fav is, Glenelg Health Foods. I can always find those hard to source items here. I do need a new essential oil maybe Ylang Ylang for relaxation during this school holiday period. Sportsgirl, Cotton On just a few more must visit stores.
Glenelg Foreshore Playspace is a great space for the kids to run around and have some fun. I’m sure by the time we are finished here, I’ll start to hear the song “I’m hungry mum,” “I’m starving”. One thing about kids is they are always hungry! So it’s burgers and fries for everyone at Lord of the Fries on Jetty Road, Glenelg. Might even treat myself with a vego burger.
Of course we can’t be so close and not “have a little squizzy” at Daisy and Hen. There I’ll be hit up with a new coloring set, an adventure activity pack and probably a soft teddy. So it’s at this point I’ll say, ‘Right. Let’s go home’. The rest of the day will be spent colouring-in and playing with their new goodies.
If your heading to Glenelg on 10 October make sure you check out, ‘Meet The Machines’. Lots of fun and free activities for kids of all ages to be a part off especially those that love trucks and fire engines!
