We’ve done it.
We’ve taken one for the team, and done all the research, the trialling and testing, and the results are finally in — we’ve found the perfect balance of coffee, exercise, shopping and FOOD. You’re welcome.
Sometimes it’s really hard being us (lols).
We’ve just spent the day down at Jetty Rd, Glenelg with an awesome bunch of Adeladies, laughing our a$$es off and discovering the best gems in the area. You should have seen us strutting up and down Jetty Rd — we felt like twelve Julia Roberts’ in Pretty Woman as she conquered Rodeo Drive.
The icing on the cake is that you too can have the best Ladies Day Out, because we love to share! Here’s our itinerary, ready for you to steal (once you’ve grabbed your girlfriends, of course)…
9.45am :: Meet at Kicco Coffee for a quick and delicious caffeine hit to get your day started!
10am :: Live out your childhood dream of being a fit ballerina at Aleenta Barre Class, where you’ll combine ballet and exercise for possibly the greatest sweat sesh ever. This was so much fun that I’ve now booked a ten session pass!
11am :: The itinerary said SHOP TILL YOU DROP, so we did just that!
And after hitting the shops hard, here are our hot picks…
For homewares :: Villa Hampton, Home Basics and Design, Lightbox Gift and Home, Wanderlust.
For fashion :: Daisy and Hen, Who I Choose To Be, Attitudes, Witchery, Sportsgirl, and Jetty Road’s newbie Denim and Cloth, Lumiere Collective.
Seriously, there are so many great fashion and homewares shops along Jetty Rd, you can run an absolute muck!
1pm :: Shopping makes you ravenous! So, we bee-lined for The Moseley for one hell of a lunch, glass of wine and sensational balcony views of Glenelg!
2pm :: Free for all! From here, we all hugged, exchanged Instagrams and skipped off to enjoy the Glenelg sunshine!
There is SO much to do along Jetty Rd. The world is your oyster (oooh, fresh seafood for dinner perhaps?) So, turn our Ladies Day Out into your perfect day! We’d love to hear what you get up to!
