Walking up the stairs of Goodlife can sometimes be an out of body experience. Food lovers, pizza fans and ‘hangry’ humans know the smell of wood-fired pizza is enough to make anyone weak at the knees! Add in the Gluten free, vegan and vego options, and all your mates are well and truly sorted. What’s better, the crowd gathering favourites at Goodlife Organic Pizza are all made with love and freshly sourced South Australian produce. Win, win!

We sat down with Jake, founder of the brand and asked, why pizza?

“With a passion for South Australian produce we wanted to show it off with a simple base to let the world-class ingredients speak for themselves. Pizza was the perfect match”

The three founding brothers, having wet their feet in hospitality opened their first Goodlife restaurant on Hutt Street in 2003. Jake and his brothers then started Goodlife Organic Pizza Glenelg 14 years ago making it a Jetty Road institution.

INTRODUCING GREEN ROAD WINES

With a successful restaurant under their belts the Goodlife team set about creating their own small batch wine label. Quirky and cool the label hails from McLaren Vale, and just like the passion put into the food, the wine is award winning. Boasting a Cab Sav/Shiraz blend called REINCARNATION RED, think bigger, bolder and perfect with a salami pizza. There’s also a lighter blend, called HAPPY DAYS, an easy to drink drop that’s sure to put smile on your dial.

Jake’s own small batch wine label Green Road Wines is outstanding
